Having been born and raised in the diverse melting pot known as NY, I was exposed to many different cultures during my childhood. One of the best parts about growing up in an ethnic household was that food played a central role in my world. Each summer we had a bountiful garden of fruits and vegetables within the confines of the Queens suburb where I lived.
In my early 20s, I relocated to South Florida, completed my studies and focused on developing my career. Over the past 15 years, I’ve travelled extensively (Europe, Asia, South, Central & North America) both for business and pleasure, which has further exposed me to a variety of fascinating cultures and cuisines. I’ve also had the good fortune to have lived and worked in Europe, as well as in the southwestern US, and now the midwestern US, and to have experienced the nuances of those locales.
As a lover of nature, the oceans and mountains make my spirit soar. Nutrition and spirituality became a primary focus for me a number of years ago when a close relative was diagnosed with a challenging illness. I’m looking forward to sharing and exchanging knowledge and continuously learning more about these topics.
